About the role

  • Provides enhanced visibility of risks and opportunities for projects across the globe, driving alignment within the OTR functions and plant operations to ensure material availability, capacity readiness, and schedule adherence;
  • Supply Chain SIOP and forecast for New Units and Retrofit, works in partnership with the CSS SIOP Leader, ITO Ops, Gas Power SIOP stakeholders, CSS Plant Leaders and key third party suppliers;
  • L3 MOR operating rhythm, manages and follow-up on defined actions, collaborates with the Lean organization on processes and capability/capacity improvements;
  • Accountability for GSC KPIs: Projects OTD, Parts OTD, Quality Escapes, Utilization, and broader operational performance metrics;
  • Drives accountability on CAPAs, Findings, CIRs and other Quality metrics;
  • Partnership with Engineering, provides feedback, leads internal SC actions, and drives OTR accountability to support functional Engineering FPY, OTD, and other key metrics, that ultimately impacts CSS OTD targets;
  • Holds global visibility of volume, mix, and resource requirements. Drives balanced plant load distribution, aligns workforce planning (hourly + outsourced services) with demand, and ensures equipment and Capex readiness to support volume growth and productivity;
  • Owns the Controls global Capex budget - prioritization, scheduling, execution, and financial discipline;
  • Oversees key testing capability programs, ensuring operational readiness aligns with future product needs and long-term growth plans;
  • Make/buy strategy development and supplier base optimization in partnership with Sourcing;
  • Improved SC data visibility, analytics, and digital transformation through emerging manufacturing technology and AI;
  • Focal point of highly critical and complex DT changes and improvements (SAP, PLM, integrations, etc). Owns the E2E projects execution and integration of new manufacturing scopes into the Controls GSC structure.
  • Establishes aligned processes, governance, and execution discipline/standardization not only in Manufacturing but across Planning, Sourcing, Materials Management, and Logistics, ensuring continuity and efficiency;
  • Supports the process setup and scaling of the Supply Chain strategy, partnering closely with local leadership and managing infrastructure, capability replication, and work transfer, where applicable, ensuring readiness to support the Controls footprint;
  • Oversees strategic partners to guarantee alignment and execution;
  • Development of Distribution Centers, definition of localization and fulfillment strategy in partnership with the Materials team that best suits the regional/global needs;
  • Maintains oversight of new/added manufacturing and parts backlog, working with site leadership to ensure uninterrupted delivery performance and avoidance of customer or revenue impact.
  • Supply Chain Interface for ITO & Product Management This role is the key Supply Chain contact supporting the ITO and Product Management teams, ensuring operational competitiveness, and supporting with inputs for commercial and product decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior business, operations, or finance leadership roles within a complex industrial, manufacturing, or engineered-products environment, with direct exposure to end-to-end value chain performance.
  • BSc/MSc Degree from an accredited University or College (or equivalent experience) with a focus on engineering, operations or a related field – this is a must in Hungary.
  • Strong financial and/or operations acumen, including experience in FP&A, operational finance, business integration, and investment prioritization, with demonstrated ability to translate financial insights into operational and strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional execution across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sourcing, and Commercial teams, influencing outcomes without direct line authority.
  • Capacity to drive enterprise-level planning, forecasting, and performance management processes, ensuring alignment between demand, capacity, cost, and delivery.
  • Track record of leading business transformations, integrations, or turnarounds, including governance setup, process standardization, and change management across global or multi-site operations.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience partnering with senior leadership to support investment decisions, risk mitigation, and margin, cash, and growth objectives.
  • Experience operating in matrixed, global organizations, managing complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities while maintaining disciplined execution and accountability.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
