About the role
- act as Point of Contact to all interfacing teams for ITR related matters for the Agile Upgrade team in Steam Turbine Technology space for assigned Opportunities and Projects
- provide technical guidance and/or review of work to individual ITR engineers in the team
- manage escalations from internal and external customers
- have a clear understanding of team workload and organize assignments to balance this workload while continuing to develop the team’s technical expertise
- identify process gaps and development improvement plans to address these
- resolve issues in situations using system level thinking, good technical knowledge and judgment within establish procedures providing positive customer outcomes
- developing connections with interfacing organizations like ST Design Engineering, Materials Management and Sales to ensure Agile team is developing value for our customers in a growing marketspace
- responsible for developing and sustainable rollout of continuous improvement initiatives within the ST Agile team.
Requirements
- advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Customer Project Engineering
- knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience) with 5+ years of experience
- deep heavy duty Steam Turbine technology knowledge
- deep understanding of Agile and CMU OTR processes and procedures
- ability and desire to identify and implement continuous process improvements.
- capable of coaching others to accomplish assignments
- experience and demonstrated success working in a cross-functional environment
- strong customer focus mindset
- demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
