About the role
- validate designs for COE projects under execution
- collaborate with consulting engineers to develop design practices
- evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and solutions
- leverage technical expertise to resolve business problems
- lead and deliver New Product Introduction (NPI), cost-out programs
- implement lessons learned from fleet and supplier quality issues
- exercise technical discretion and decision-making
- ensure adherence to GE Global Engineering technical standards
- foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering
- minimum of 10 years of experience in hydro-related fields
- strong expertise in hydro products, components, and systems
- hands-on experience in hydro generator design and engineering execution
- proficiency in basic and detailed engineering
- strong skills in checking and validation processes
- open-minded and multicultural
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- knowledge of additional languages is preferred but not mandatory
