About the role
- Support supplier selection & onboarding process and lead/execute first piece qualifications
- Work with Engineering in leading supplier project kick-off meetings and developing supplier surveillance plans
- Plan & execute audit strategies to verify compliance with regulations/standards
- Manage supplier technical deviations, non-conformances, & field complaints
- Actively support all supplier quality improvement initiatives including audits and CAPA follow-up
- Monitor and manage supplier quality key process indicators (KPI)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials or Quality Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality, operations/supply chain or project management, preferably in Power Generation industry
- Proficiency to understand technical drawings, specifications, and standards
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes involved in production of equipment (casting, forging, welding, etc.)
- Strong safety, compliance, quality, and lean mindset
- Capacity to organize working time in global team settings
- Willingness to adjust working hours based on meetings with stakeholders in different time zones
- Flexibility to travel to supplier facilities up to 30%
