About the role

  • Responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.
  • The Sr. Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall execution of Power Conversion projects for the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Phase-II Bulk Program.
  • Management of consortium type org. structure, EPC interfaces, and adherence to program execution strategy (PES).
  • Participate in leadership level planning, budgeting, reviews, etc.
  • Primary point of contact for the customer on assigned projects.
  • Support the Senior Project Director with Program level planning, budgeting, etc.
  • Consortium leadership of Power Conversion suppliers, partners, and management of external stakeholders.
  • Accountable for SQDC metrics and prioritizing GEV way.
  • Timely delivery of GEV’s supply scope and engineering studies.
  • Responsible for Project Profit & Loss (P&L), margin improvement, cash collection, and bonds management.
  • Develop and continually maintain risk & opportunity registers throughout the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • 10 to 15 years’ experience in the energy industry with specific focus on Project Management.
  • Seasoned experience working on large complex projects as Sr. PM.
  • Experience as leader of Consortium / Turnkey projects is a plus.
  • Must be fluent in Arabic and English (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to be relocated across different project locations of the program.
  • Experience with scheduling software i.e. primavera P6.
