About the role
- Manage tenders from opportunity identification through order execution
- Lead complex tendering processes and coordinate with various internal departments and units
- Work with Procurement to obtain quotes for service estimates and with Engineering to ensure the GE proposal complies with the customer’s RFQ
- Develop internal relationships with Business Development managers and Key Account managers
- Contribute to contract negotiations with customers
- Be able to draft complex technical and commercial proposals in English
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time within the United States and Canada
- Must comply with all company travel and tax policies
- Experience in a commercial and tendering role in a similar environment
- Experience in the high-voltage transmission market preferred
- Knowledge of the North American market required
- Fluent English required; French would be an asset
