About the role
- Cybersecurity Leader for Non-Core systems and processes in the Electrification Systems Segment
- Report to the CISO of Electrification and collaborate with the Vernova CISO and their Staff
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of a portfolio of Cyberservices
- Ensure that specific BU Cyber Risks meet the risk tolerance of both the BU and the overall Vernova Organization
- Work closely with the central Cybersecurity team and the BU DT teams
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the Electrification Segment’s unique Cybersecurity and technical regulatory environment
- Communicate BU Cyber risks to the Central Cybersecurity team and the BU Leadership Team
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and key enablers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
- minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Security or 6 years of Information Security experienced with a Master’s degree
- Specific experience in implementing US Military Cybersecurity compliance requirements (DFARS, and CMMC), as well as classified environments.
- US Citizenship and ability to get a DOD Security Clearance, if required.
- 3 years of experience leading large security programs
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT Security and risk frameworks including: ISO 2700x, NIST 800
- Ability and willingness to travel, as required.
