About the role

  • Drive commercial discipline towards accurate cost rollup in adherence with ITO underwriting policies
  • Define & support proposal bid strategy and manage adequate Risk/ reward balance across key Financials deliverables, TT terms, cash milestones, payment terms, FX & tax implications; organize budget handover & allocation; ensure project review accurately reflect project financial status
  • Lead process governance in consolidation & reporting of Financial data
  • Adherence to IT process governance including identifying & creating mitigation strategies for Financial risk triggers and delivering discussions for leadership approvals (SLR, Corporate review etc)
  • Actively participate in project handover reviews from Inquiry to Order (ITO), to Order to Remittance (OTR) i.e., T&C clarifications, project setup, payment security, hedging evaluation, etc.
  • Review proposals to optimize for Cash flow, title transfer and Revenue recognition
  • Lead negotiation on Financial triggers. Engage with Treasury teams for appropriate risk management around Financial triggers, Fx and cash collection terms
  • Provide internal and external Audit support relating to project accounting activity, balance sheet and P&L as needed
  • Partnership with broader Commercial, Sales, Pricing and other support functions to drive best in class deal underwriting
  • Be a strong advocate for LEAN culture, supporting continuous improvement of processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration equivalent international degree or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • 7+ Years experience in Finance and/or Operations in progressively larger positions of responsibility
  • 5+ years experience of Financial Systems & Data
  • Good understanding of USGAAP and statutory accounting principles with ability to translate accounting requirements to ERP solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver with focus, prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly
  • Experience and interest in driving process improvement
  • Excellent time management, organizational and data driven skills
  • Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ability to work in ambiguous situations
