About the role
- Work with the Operations, Lean, Quality and Engineering leaders to define and execute the transformation and productivity roadmap
- Define, Plan, and Implement the Manufacturing 4.0 digital strategy leveraging cloud and cloud native strategies
- Define and Execute the Shopfloor Digitization Program with special focus on GSC Mfg ecosystem and connected Repair lines
- Identify customer needs and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill; create strategic roadmap and translate business strategy into product strategy & work with customers/stakeholders to prioritize needs
- Articulate what success looks like for a product and rally a team to turn that vision into a reality
- Collaborate with software development teams to establish standard software delivery processes and rigor, implementing lean and agile in parallel
- Establish and operationalize a framework that encourages innovation in all digital solutions development and deployments
- Evangelize new opportunities possible with technology investment; challenge status quo and drive data/digital disruption
- Lead and coach the product discovery and delivery managers and teams
- Support daily operations, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Repair sites’ digital products/solutions
- Work with the Regional CTO Leaders to ensure infrastructure and equipment needed for repair shops and the supply chain user base
- Plan and track budget needed for operations and investment to support the above-mentioned priorities
- Control and ensure compliance of vendor management needed to deliver the priorities
- Lead cross-discipline, global teams to establish an integrated plan to deliver team commitments
- Leverage domain expertise to further the knowledge and improve productivity of colleagues with activities such as creating learning content, sharing best practices across sites digital products and processes, and support a continuous learning culture
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Significant years of IT professional experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines
- Significant years of professional experience in Software Development Project Management including large portfolio and financial management leading cross functional initiatives and organizations
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be willing to work out of key GE office located in the country/region
- Demonstrated ability of working with executive-level stakeholders to define, lead, and implement process and tools strategy to drive process improvement changes
- Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
- Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
- Proven leadership experience managing large global teams across multiple functional disciplines
- Track record of driving DT innovation and technology-driven business outcomes
- Experience managing budgets including annual budgets and large-scale projects
- Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
- Ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
- Uses critical thinking skills and disciplined approaches to help leaders and leadership teams resolve issues and define solutions
