About the role
- Lead a global team of aeroderivative gas turbine product services engineers, overseeing technical talent development and deployment
- Drive resolution of complex technical issues, executing critical Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) in partnership with customers, insurers, and internal partners
- Manage repair and industrialization engineering activities, emphasizing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) in all operations
- Collaborating with Design Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sourcing to provide sound technical resolution in a timely manner
- Issuing Customer Technical Communication documentation to ensure safe/reliable operation of equipment, coordinating across regions and product lines as necessary
- Ensuring consistent technical communications on a global scale, both internally and externally
- Drive the execution of Aero Repairs and spare parts industrialization in partnership with cross functional organizations
- Lead external discussions & decision making with Aero Alliance, Baker Hughes, and GE Aerospace on operationalizing repairs and industrialization, managing stakeholder expectations and supply chain constraints
- Identify trending technical issues across customer fleets, develop countermeasures, and safeguard fleet reliability
- Develop, train, and deploy standard tools and processes leveraging Lean principles to enhance safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost reduction
- Maintain financial accountability for Aero Services, overseeing spending, funding, and supporting business growth from $1B to a planned $2B by 2030
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in an Engineering-related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience within Gas Power discipline
- At least 5 years of people leadership experience
