About the role
- Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies for indirect categories
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supplier consolidation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., business units, finance, operations)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and service capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing and conditions
- Monitor supplier performance and manage risks associated with supplier relationships
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify best practices and emerging trends
- Drive cost savings initiatives and track spending against budgets
- Streamline sourcing processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency
- Generate regular reports on sourcing activities, savings achievements, and supplier performance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Significant experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, or equivalent consulting experience
- Experience with all indirect sourcing categories including in-depth knowledge of regional facilities and MRO
- Experience in leading cross-region team
