About the role
- Lead engineering activities across GE Vernova’s Steam Turbine portfolio
- Drive the development of industry-leading decarbonization solutions
- Oversee engineering support for the installed fleet
- Champion adoption of advanced practices to improve quality and reduce cycle time
- Collaborate closely with product management, manufacturing, and R&D
- Protect intellectual property and establish technology differentiators
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering-related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience within Gas Power discipline
- At least 5 years of people leadership experience
- 15+ years of progressive energy industry engineering leadership and proven experience in decarbonization or low-carbon technology development
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, global, and multi-disciplinary environment
- Strong technical judgment with a focus on quality, cost, and schedule performance
- Deep understanding of project execution risks, financial drivers, and customer requirements
- Proven track record in innovation leadership and technology development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization and externally with customers and partners
- Deep knowledge of thermodynamics, rotating equipment, plant integration, emissions compliance, and carbon capture technologies
