About the role

Lead Schedule optimization and continuous improvement for HDNU scheduling templates and projects.
Data analysis and automation with continuous improvement mindset.
Develop and maintain tools and processes that drive consistency in the application of solutions across the ITR teams.
Challenge status quo in terms of the current operating model / current processes always in search of a better more productive way.
Eliminate process waste and minimizing touch-times / hand-offs.
Effectively communicate project solutions to internal and external GE customers.
Work collaboratively with partnering teams, e.g. Sales, Commercial Operations, Product Line, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Project Management Office for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters to build winning solutions for our customers.
Incorporate GE Vernova Way principles of Innovation, Customers, Lean, One team and accountable in how the work is done.
Demonstrate accountability for functional and business objectives.
Champion LEAN principles and embrace LEAN.
Continuously challenge and improve internal processes in Heavy Duty ITR organization, employee Lean principles like PSR, process maturity models and Kaizens to improve the KPIs.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
2+ years’ experience in ITR processes, engineering and project execution.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Established project management skills.
Gas turbine, generator, steam turbine, HRSG product line knowledge; plant systems level knowledge.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and customers.
Self-starter with energy and positive attitude and legacy of delivering on commitments in a fast-paced dynamics environment.
Continuous improvement “mindset” with an ability to identify, influence, and implement better ways to do an activity or process.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a wide variety of organizations and individuals in global locations.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed team environment.
