About the role
- Own all the physical aspects of the design for FACTS projects.
- Provide technical leadership to the physical engineering design team.
- Ensure all project design documentation is delivered on time, on budget and with excellent quality.
- Create and lead training for the design team for FSC and SC solutions.
- Support quality initiatives including non-conformances and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Overall experience of 5+ years in the physical design of FACTS products.
- Excellent personal computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and Word, Autodesk and Bentley Open Utilities 3D CAD platforms.
- Support project quality procedures and initiatives including aspects of ISO9001.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
