About the role

  • Responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives
  • Jobs at this level operate with some autonomy but are covered by well-defined Commercial policies or review of end results.
  • Responsible for medium-sized sales territories.
  • You will have demonstrable experience in the Electric Distribution Utility sector that excels in translating the complex into impactful solutions through ‘day in the life’ storytelling.
  • In this role you will be formulating solutions by: Establishing a deep understanding of the GridOS Advanced Energy Management Systems (AEMS) for our customers and prospects across the ASEAN region
  • Establishing a deep understanding of the GridOS Advance Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) and GridOS Distributed Energy Resource Management systems (DERMs) for our customers and prospects across the ASEAN region
  • Establishing a deep understand of GridOS and GridOS foundational technologies to help customers on the GridOS journey.
  • Capability to translate electrical market standards and regulation and map to the GE product offering
  • Become the ‘Trusted Advisor’ with our customers technologists and internal GE Grid Software team
  • Present and demonstrate the GE Grid Software GridOS AEMS, ADMS and DERMs solutions at various levels within the customer’s business
  • Research deployed solutions in the ASEAN region and build experience to tell impactful stories
  • Create and validate our technical proposals to ensure it aligns with our customers’ expectations and requirements.
  • Enthusiastically present GE Vernova solutions sales forums, industry events, and conferences to increase awareness and drive demand for our solutions
  • Interface with the GridOS AEMS, ADMS and DERMs pre-sales teams globally, and support building a community to build best practice
  • Participate in customer meetings, carry out product demonstrations and support onsite POCs to position GE Vernova’s GridOS AEMS, ADMS and DERMs solutions during the sales lifecycle
  • Leverage your experience in AEMS, ADMS and DERMs as solution vendor or a solution consumer to retain and expand market share
  • Become the ‘Voice of the Customer’ and interface with product management
  • Define the GridOS AEMS, ADMS and DERMs control center system configurations, bill of materials and design software and hardware architecture that meets customer requirements and GE Vernova’s standards
  • Support the creation and validation of Statements of Work and Project Plans for customer proposals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in a relevant discipline (for example Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Power Systems Engineering)
  • Energy Management systems experience in the ASEAN region including knowledge of the customer base.
  • Distribution Optimization and Outage Response experience in the ASEAN region including knowledge of the customer base.
  • Experience with the customers in Indonesia and the ASEAN region would highly desirable.
  • Able to work out of Indonesia
  • Written and verbal skills in English and Habasa highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience with GridOS
  • Knowledge of advanced applications such FLISR, Volt Var Optimization (VVO), state estimation, WAMs and Forecasting solutions
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems (monitored devices, RTUs, HMI, etc.) and advance SCADA protocols such as DNP3 and ICCP as well as the IEC 61850 standard
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with GE Vernova’s AEMS
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with GE Vernova’s ADMS
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with GE Vernova’s DERMs
  • Knowledge and experience with 3rd party SCADA, AEMS or ADMS systems
  • Knowledge and experience with renewable energy, DER and DERMS software solutions
  • Knowledge and experience creating Statements of Work (SoWs) and project implementation plans for complex projects
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance with respect to utilities and/or energy markets
  • Familiarity with Highly Available, Self-Healing IT/OT systems and/or containerization/microservices system architecture
  • Experience as a customer facing sales, technical sales, product management or solution architect for 5+ years
  • Ability Knowledge of IT hardware and networking equipment will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cyber security standards/best practice for operational systems
  • Experience architecting operational systems in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
