About the role

  • Provide input and make decisions that influence major technical and financial outcomes
  • Provide technical project management, technical direction, and drive coordination of engineering activities
  • Function as the technical liaison for the Customer and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) representatives
  • Ensure that the supplied design documentation and equipment complies with contract requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution
  • Manage the Engineering Budget and provide quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) to Finance
  • Present project issue resolutions periodically to upper management, highlighting risks, and creating action plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university OR a high school diploma/ GED with 10 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering related to Generator Projects
  • Ability and willingness to travel, as required ~10%
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Ability and willingness to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with GTCC – Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software
  • Experience and/or knowledge of plant system design engineering, manufacturing, assembly, installation, and/or testing
  • Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving capability
