About the role
- Perform general janitorial duties including cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal, and organization.
- Maintain cleanliness across common areas, restrooms, data floors, shipping and receiving, and office spaces.
- Dispose of cardboard, foam, and pallets in designated areas.
- Clean plenum areas and detail high-traffic zones such as mantraps and hallways.
- Perform daily perimeter walks to identify and address issues.
- Maintain and replace sticky mats throughout the facility.
- Support basic material handling for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Operate warehouse tools such as pallet jacks and forklifts as required.
- Perform minor facility tasks such as changing lights, tightening handles, and adjusting door hinges.
- Monitor supply levels and communicate when restocking is needed.
- Complete required LMS training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic janitorial, facilities, or maintenance experience.
- Understanding of general safety practices.
- Basic computer skills including email and internal communication tools.
- Valid state-issued drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks (preferred).
- Experience working in data center or construction environments (preferred).
