About the role

  • Take on a key role in building, operating, and continuously improving the Application Delivery platforms in the Swisscom datacenter and in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Combine technical expertise with customer focus, handling everything from analysis and implementation to operations.
  • Ensure high service quality and reliability in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Work with F5 BIG‑IP, load balancing, reverse proxies, and security and network integration.
  • Automate processes and drive efficient platform development using Ansible, REST APIs, Python, and Java.

Requirements

  • Degree or qualification in Computer Science (apprenticeship, vocational school, University of Applied Sciences, or university) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in IT infrastructure operations (server and/or network components)
  • Knowledge of automation (e.g., REST APIs, Ansible) and scripting, as well as Linux system administration
  • Openness to new technologies such as artificial intelligence and a hands-on willingness to learn
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and irregular deployments
  • Structured, independent, and resilient working style with a quick grasp of new concepts
  • Team-oriented personality with clear communication skills and strong customer and service orientation
  • Very good German and English.
