About the role
- Independently execute monthly payroll runs
- Thoroughly review payroll and ensure an error-free year-end closing
- Responsible for the calculation and reporting of social insurance contributions, family allowances and withholding tax (tax at source)
- Advise employees and managers on payroll and social insurance matters
- Maintain payroll master data accurately
- Analyze and optimize processes and internal reporting procedures
Requirements
- At least three years of solid payroll experience in Switzerland
- Strong knowledge of Swiss social insurance law, especially withholding tax (tax at source) and cross-border commuters (frontaliers)
- Commercial vocational training complemented by further education in HR or social insurance (Fachausweis or CAS)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- Proficient with SAP and SuccessFactors
- Excellent written and spoken German and good English skills
