About the role

  • Independently execute monthly payroll runs
  • Thoroughly review payroll and ensure an error-free year-end closing
  • Responsible for the calculation and reporting of social insurance contributions, family allowances and withholding tax (tax at source)
  • Advise employees and managers on payroll and social insurance matters
  • Maintain payroll master data accurately
  • Analyze and optimize processes and internal reporting procedures

Requirements

  • At least three years of solid payroll experience in Switzerland
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss social insurance law, especially withholding tax (tax at source) and cross-border commuters (frontaliers)
  • Commercial vocational training complemented by further education in HR or social insurance (Fachausweis or CAS)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
  • Proficient with SAP and SuccessFactors
  • Excellent written and spoken German and good English skills
