About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting the Operations team. Your duties include organizing internal documentation, assisting with reconciliations, handling queries and ad-hoc reporting, and supporting settlement and corporate action processes.
- Helping with daily position and cash reconciliations.
- Assisting with system connectivity setup and user testing.
- Interfacing with the technology team to improve workflow and reporting automation, as well as to increase scalability.
- Collaborating with our compliance team, particularly with the maintenance of automated order filtering and management of exceptions.
- Engaging in treasury activity (collateral and cash-equivalent management), allowing portfolio managers and executing traders to operate safely.
- Participating in pricing and valuation review flow, focusing on easing communication through common data standards and understanding.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A curious mind and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience working with APIs, databases, or scripting languages (Python, SQL, etc.).
- Strong, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Previous internship experience in a technical, financial, or operations-related field preferred.
- Interest in financial markets or algorithmic trading.
- Familiarity with basic financial instruments or processes is a plus.
- Willing to relocate to Switzerland (Zurich / Zug area) or work remotely with some overlap with European business hours.
