• Developing and implementing Swissblocks’ global risk management framework across all asset classes and strategies, including OTC Derivatives (IRS, TDS, CDS), FX, Futures and Equities.
• Ensure that market risks arising from the relevant portfolios are identified, captured, reported and managed within risk appetite.
• Define the firm’s risk appetite and tolerance thresholds in collaboration with senior management.
• Build and manage a team of risk management experts and act as a trusted advisor to senior management.
• Establish and maintain policies, standards and governance structures to promote a consistent risk culture across the business.
• Perform analysis, including stress tests and scenario analysis, to evaluate how portfolios might perform under market and macroeconomic changes.
• Lead the testing and onboarding of new risk technologies.
