About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement cloud applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
- Contribute to cloud-native solutions (microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures)
- Develop using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and Fiori/UI5
- Support integration of SAP S/4HANA and cloud systems (REST, OData, and event-based communication)
- Build and extend side-by-side extensions for SAP standard solutions
- Help design modern, clean architectures (clean code and cloud principles)
- Assist in designing and enhancing integration solutions using the SAP Integration Suite
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
- Some practical experience in software development (internships, working-student roles, or project work)
- Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Node.js
- Interest in cloud technologies (e.g., SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes/Kyma)
- Initial exposure to APIs (REST, OData) and modern software architectures
- Curiosity about SAP technologies — experience is a plus but not required
- Analytical thinking, team spirit, and a strong eagerness to learn
- Very good German and English language skills
