About the role

  • You are actively involved in firmware development for next-generation flash controllers and play a key role in developing the security architecture and new security features
  • You work on concepts for data and firmware security and their implementation
  • You collaborate closely with our test team to achieve comprehensive validation of our products' security features
  • You support product certifications according to internationally recognized security standards (e.g., FIPS, NIST, TCG, OCP)

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (BSc, MSc or equivalent)
  • You are open-minded and enjoy working in a team
  • Professional experience in embedded software development is an advantage, but entry-level candidates are welcome
  • Very good knowledge of common symmetric and asymmetric encryption and signature algorithms
  • Knowledge of legal requirements in the area of cyber security (e.g., Cyber Resilience Act)
  • Excellent knowledge of the C programming language
  • Experience with microprocessors, embedded system architecture, compilers, and development tools for embedded software
  • Experience with certification processes under internationally recognized security standards is a plus
  • Experience with specific host interfaces for storage devices (such as PCIe/NVMe) is an advantage
  • Good spoken and written English is required.
