About the role
- Lead or support the development and review of pricing bases and reinsurance terms for new and established products
- Ensure the profitability of the current portfolio in collaboration with our reporting and experience study teams
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams on product development opportunities
- Provide thought leadership and offer guidance to others
Requirements
- Degree in actuarial science
- 0–2 years' actuarial experience and/or familiarity with reinsurance structures and retail protection markets
- Excellent knowledge of relevant actuarial and statistical models
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work under pressure while managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable managing deliverables independently and driving projects to completion
- Fluent in English and French with strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong client focus with good negotiation skills
