About the role

  • Support strategic initiatives, including change management, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to manage headcount planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Track and monitor the function’s financial and CO2 budget, ensuring alignment with targets.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage forecasts, identify variances.
  • Monitor and respond to EES results, identifying themes, developing action plans, and implementing initiatives enhancing team culture, collaboration, and retention.
  • Support preparation of executive-level reporting for senior management, including updates to respective committees, leadership teams, and senior stakeholder meetings.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of internal communications, leadership updates, and team-wide announcements.
  • Organise and manage logistics for offsites, town halls, and leadership workshops, ensuring alignment with strategic themes and engagement goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across reserving operations, leveraging automation, data analytics, and best practices from the Reserving Best Practice framework.

Requirements

  • University degree in business, economics, mathematics, finance, or related discipline supporting analytical work
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration tools
  • Experience in structuring and preparing presentations tailored to specific audiences
  • Experience working in a finance or actuarial environment (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (nice to have)
  • Experience with change management in complex organizations (nice to have)
  • Background in budget management and financial reporting (nice to have)
  • Previous experience supporting leadership teams or executive offices (nice to have)
