About the role
- Take end-to-end ownership of designing, deploying, operating, and continuously improving the performance and fault-tolerance of large-scale, multi-cloud solutions
- Ensure system security, data integrity, and high availability across all logging and monitoring platforms
- Develop and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to enable proactive issue detection and swift resolution
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to onboard services onto our platforms and consult on best SRE practices
- Stay ahead of technology trends and evaluate new solutions that strengthen our observability ecosystem
- Create and maintain technical support documentation, while providing hands-on troubleshooting when required
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in hybrid cloud environments (Azure and on-prem)
- Experience with open-source observability tools (e.g., LGTM stack , OpenTelemetry , distributed tracing)
- Bonus: familiarity with Elasticsearch, K6, Faro
- Solid background in CI/CD pipelines and system engineering in distributed, cloud-native solutions
- Programming skills in Go (bonus if you know Python, Java, .NET, or Bash)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Enthusiasm for creating insightful Grafana dashboards
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
