About the role

  • Support quarterly closing processes, taking responsibility for dedicated checks and validations
  • Build financial insights by understanding the main drivers of quarterly financial impact
  • Resolve incidents and provide timely support to ensure smooth operations
  • Redesign validation frameworks by identifying inefficiency areas where automation is needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk Management, FP&A, Regional Finance, IT, and other departments
  • Contribute to discussions and constructively challenge others to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Promote automation and process simplification opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent quantitative skills
  • Ability to build working relationships across technical fields
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Flexible mindset and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Existing knowledge of IFRS 17 (nice to have)
  • Programming skills such as Python (nice to have)
  • Understanding of methods for calculating policy liabilities and IFRS financial reporting (nice to have)
  • Solid understanding of market consistent valuation methods (nice to have)
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional teams (nice to have)
