About the role
- Assist in designing and executing compliance monitoring programmes and reviews
- Support the identification and analysis of compliance risks across the organization
- Help assess the design and operating effectiveness of existing controls mitigating compliance risks
- Monitor and track the timely resolution of identified compliance issues
- Prepare reports on testing results and compliance findings for senior management
- Provide support in investigations and special projects as needed
- Assist in providing compliance monitoring results for internal and external reporting
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across different business units and group functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (qualification in Law, Business or Finance is a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or audit in the financial services industry
- Strong skills in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and analysis
- Understanding of compliance principles, monitoring and/or audit methodologies, and risk and control frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in the (re)insurance industry
- Knowledge of data analytics tools to enhance compliance monitoring activities (Power BI and Stargate)
- Project coordination experience
- Additional language skills
