About the role

  • Act as the global subject matter expert for MGA & Facilities governance
  • Own, maintain, and continuously evolve the Global MGA & Facilities Framework
  • Serve as the primary interface for control and expert functions
  • Provide senior management with transparency on performance, profitability, risk trends and governance adherence
  • Oversee the onboarding, audits and renewals of MGAs and Facilities
  • Coordinate fronting arrangements for Business Unit Reinsurance
  • Provide hands-on governance support and coaching to Underwriting and Operations teams
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive efficiency, control and scalability enhancements
  • Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements and integrate them into processes and governance
  • Promote the effective use of technology and Generative AI to improve workflow efficiency, insights and reporting

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in dealing with MGAs and Facilities
  • 10+ years’ experience as direct insurance Underwriter, preferably in Property or Casualty for mid-large international clients
  • 5+ years' experience leading global teams and/or complex projects
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance and outsourcing requirements relevant to MGAs and Facilities
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, including understanding of underwriting profitability and performance levers
  • Demonstrated ability to bring forward new ideas to improve frameworks and processes
  • Strong affinity for technology and data, including familiarity with Generative AI applications
  • Experience in navigating evolving or ambiguous environments with high levels of ownership and resilience
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
