Join scheduled training and phone bank events hosted via Zoom and sign up for sessions.
Use an online calling system/dialer that automatically dials phone numbers and connects the caller to a person when they pick up, keeping personal information like phone numbers secure.
Use a personal laptop/computer and phone to join phone bank events and make calls through a dialer.
Follow a written script during phone conversations.
Support Vote Forward’s efforts to recruit, train, and activate volunteers at scale in the final month of the California Prop 50 campaign.
Requirements
Located and eligible to work in the United States.
Fluency in English is required.
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Interest in and alignment with the mission and values of Vote Forward and our campaign to contact Democratic voters about California’s Proposition 50.
Ability to attend virtual training (1-2 hours) and phone bank events (2-4 hours) via Zoom at pre-scheduled times, from start to end, including some evenings and weekends (before 9 pm ET).
Reliable access to a laptop/computer, internet, and a cell phone that can be used for the responsibilities of this role.
Ability to make phone calls for 3 hours at a time without significant interruptions.
Ability to read and follow a written script and instructions.
Ability to verbally communicate with individuals over the phone.
