About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of positions
  • Advise managers on hires and own candidate communication and relationships
  • Collaborate with managers to identify and refine job descriptions, hiring criteria, and capture plans
  • Use data and market insights to advise on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive positioning
  • Implement sourcing strategies and build candidate pipelines through databases, employment forums, social media, and other channels
  • Conduct in-depth screens and interviews and select qualified candidates for presentation to the business
  • Schedule interviews and oversee interview-question preparation
  • Collaborate with hiring managers during offers, including salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details
  • Partner with Human Resources to maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain candidate records, touch points, and hiring metrics in ATS and CRM systems
  • Manage recruiting priorities and provide regular performance updates, analysis, and insights
  • Collaborate on special high-priority recruiting projects
  • Travel to team meetings, industry conferences, division locations, and selected job sites as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of full lifecycle recruitment experience in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting trends, current practices, technologies, and developments
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and legislation
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Relationship-building and consultative communication skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency with ATS and CRM technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 20% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Workday HCM and ATS is a plus
