About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own SwimOutlet’s and Sporti’s organic social presence end to end across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Produce social and paid social creative across short-form video, UGC, motion graphics, and statics
  • Shoot and edit content on demand and on location, including pool decks and swim meets
  • Produce a consistent pipeline of testable creative for Meta and other paid social channels
  • Direct and produce UGC through the ambassador roster and creator network
  • Publish and schedule content across social channels
  • Repurpose existing footage, UGC, and statics into new formats and placements
  • Coordinate internal designers, the digital media team, and external freelancers while owning the output
  • Use AI tools for ideation, scripting, editing, and content generation where appropriate
  • Audit branded social channels within the first 60 days and recommend priorities
  • Plan, produce, publish, manage communities, and track performance across channels
  • Lead paid-social creative ideation and testing across hooks, angles, copy, and formats
  • Review paid creative performance weekly with the CMO and determine what to produce next
  • Analyze CTR, CPM, thumbstop rate, hook rate, hold rate, engagement rate, and outbound CTR
  • Run the ambassador program, including recruiting, briefing, tracking output, evaluating ROI, and refining the roster
  • Manage community engagement across DMs, comments, and tagged content; escalate sensitive issues
  • Align social content with product priorities, launches, and promotional moments
  • Present weekly organic-performance reporting and apply organic learnings to paid social
  • Monitor platform changes, trends, competitors, and category trends across swim and adjacent DTC industries
  • Steward SwimOutlet’s voice and tone across organic, paid social, and community
  • Maintain a lightweight voice reference
  • Manage Tolstoy shoppable video for on-site and retention relevance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must make the work personally, including shooting, editing, motion graphics, and static design
  • Able to produce content to a standard suitable for paid media spend
  • Comfortable producing on location, including on pool decks and at meets
  • Fluent in preferred production tools such as Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, Figma, or Canva
  • Experience owning organic social for a consumer brand or retailer end to end
  • Demonstrable paid social creative experience, including commercially measurable ads
  • Experience running an ambassador, creator, or influencer program with accountability for output
  • Sound community-management judgment, including escalation judgment
  • Comfortable with performance data and social metrics such as hook rate
  • Genuine knowledge of the swim, aquatics, or endurance-sport world, or a credible route to it
  • Working fluency with AI content-production tools is a plus, not a requirement
