About the role

  • Lead and develop a global logistics team across the U.S. and Asia, driving operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in a dynamic supply chain environment.
  • Serve as a strategic bridge between logistics and sales, aligning operational execution with revenue growth, customer solutions, and overall company strategy.
  • Design and implement forward-thinking logistics strategies to support evolving supply chain demands, including resilience planning, cost optimization, and service performance across: Ocean carriers / Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, 3PL partners, Drayage providers, Small parcel carriers (domestic and international).
  • Own small parcel carrier relationships, including: Contract negotiation and renewal, Rate benchmarking and cost analysis, Service-level performance monitoring, Carrier diversification strategy, Continuous optimization of parcel spend and transit times.
  • Develop and manage carrier scorecards and analytics to ensure KPIs are met across all transportation modes, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and cost control.
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes and SOPs governing day-to-day execution with factories, freight providers, parcel carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure visibility, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally (warehouse, IT, finance, sales, customer service) to enhance end-to-end supply chain visibility, improve workflows, and streamline escalation protocols.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, analytics, and project scopes to support strategic initiatives, RFP responses, customer proposals, and operational improvements.
  • Support sales and customer-facing teams by presenting logistics solutions in both virtual and in-person settings, translating operational capabilities into clear business value.
  • Lead technology and solution demonstrations (TMS, visibility tools, analytics platforms) for internal and external stakeholders to drive adoption and differentiation.
  • Exercise sound judgment in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations, making data-informed decisions that balance customer expectations, cost control, and operational feasibility.

Requirements

  • Requires experience in logistics, customer service, and/or supply chain.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to succeed with internal and external business partners.
  • Ability to make on the fly business decisions.
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Technology proficient an able to learn new technology platforms quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a sense of urgency and ability to pivot and re-prioritize at a moments notice.
  • Demonstrated analytical experience and ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Requires intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency; experience with VLOOKUPS and pivot tables preferred.
  • Deliver results across critical metrics owned by Logistics such as on-time delivery.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative.
  • Provide input and analyze strategic logistics supply chain requirements.
