About the role

  • Develop risk assessment metrics (low, medium and high) from scratch;
  • Ongoing capital management (second-line control);
  • Monitor Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) and Regulatory Capital (RC) (second-line control);
  • Submit risk documentation to the Central Bank of Brazil (Bacen);
  • Create the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS);
  • Identify, measure, assess, monitor, report, control and mitigate credit, operational, liquidity, social, environmental and climate risks;
  • Develop policies for department routines from scratch;
  • Assess the introduction of new products or services, as well as changes or maintenance of existing products;
  • Design and implement stress tests;
  • Prepare an annual Risk report, including operational risk, to be shared with the Board, Internal and External Audit;
  • Prepare the Pillar 3 report, including publication on the website;
  • Develop the business continuity plan together with the Technology and Product teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Economics or related fields;
  • Advanced English;
  • At least 6 years' prior experience in Risk, specifically in institutions regulated by the Central Bank of Brazil;
  • Knowledge of the Central Bank of Brazil's risk standards and regulations;
