About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Building and maintaining high-quality, well-tested code across frontend and backend, with code reviews
Developing and contributing to the design of reliable, high-performance applications, including services, APIs, and user-facing components
Owning end-to-end feature development, from design and implementation to deployment and production support
Designing, developing, and supporting integration services, REST APIs, and event-driven flows using Kafka
Working with existing monolithic and legacy solutions, supporting their integration and gradual evolution
Collaborating closely with developers, architects, product roles, and our SaaS vendor to deliver features end-to-end
Taking ownership of your services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
Contributing to improving our technical standards, ways of working, and system design

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proactive and analytical mindset, with attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the team
Experience with service-oriented, microservice-based, or monolithic architectures
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
Experience with SQL databases
Experience working with Kafka or other event-driven messaging platforms
Business-level English, written and spoken
