About the role
- Own the full lifecycle for Pals and Hosts across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging
- Build onboarding flows that drive first RSVP and first host event
- Create segmentation, behavioral triggers, and win-back journeys
- Improve activation and retention through CRM experiments
- Analyze lifecycle performance and iterate based on insights
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and AI team to deliver personalized user journeys
- Own lifecycle strategy end-to-end
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth roles
- Deep expertise in segmentation, automation, experimentation, and behavior-based lifecycle strategy
- Fluent in tools like Customer.io, Hightouch, Braze, HubSpot, Iterable, or similar
- A strategic thinker who can design systems, not just campaigns
- A self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities, proposes solutions, and leads initiatives
- Strong communicator and empathetic storyteller
- Experience influencing Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners
- Comfortable operating as both a strategic leader and hands-on IC
