- Lead Our Internal Content Strategy
- Use **Meridian**, **SEMRush**, and **AdWords data** to identify high-impact keywords, topics, and content gaps.
- Build a strategic content roadmap designed to capture new search visibility for Sweat Pants Agency.
- Create detailed briefs, outlines, and pillar content plans based on data and AI insights.
- Create and Optimize Content
- Write (or AI-draft and edit) long-form, SEO-optimized pillar articles — the kind that attract backlinks and rank.
- Collaborate with **our design team** to turn content into visual assets: infographics, annotated screenshots, and downloadable checklists.
- Partner with **our dev team** to publish optimized pages, implement structured data, and improve site performance.
- Ensure all content follows Sweat Pants Agency’s brand voice and narrative standards.
- Drive Outreach and Authority Building
- Use **Meridian’s outreach suggestions** to identify partner sites and publications for backlinks and guest placements.
- Build relationships with editors, marketing sites, and publications for inclusion or citation opportunities.
- Track outreach performance, backlinks, and referral traffic in **Search Console** and **Meridian**.
- Maintain and Refresh Evergreen Content
- Audit and update content quarterly (e.g., “2025” → “2026”) to maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Refresh underperforming content with updated examples, visuals, and keyword alignment.
- Keep our content library aligned with current search trends, compliance standards, and industry changes.
- Measure and Report Performance
- Track SEO performance through **Google Search Console**, **Analytics**, and **Meridian dashboards**.
- Monitor rankings, organic traffic growth, click-through rates, and content engagement.
- Share monthly reports on key wins, insights, and optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in **SEO strategy, content marketing, or organic growth** (agency or in-house experience).
- Hands-on with **SEMRush**, **Google Search Console**, and **AdWords keyword tools**.
- Comfortable using **AI tools** (like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Meridian) for ideation, drafting, and optimization.
- Excellent writer and editor who can make complex topics clear, human, and engaging.
- Strategic thinker who sees SEO as a system — connecting research, content, design, and development.
- Self-starter who can take ownership, experiment, and drive results with minimal supervision.
