About the role
- Own and manage employee records and HR documentation in compliance with US regulations
- Lead onboarding and offboarding processes (contracts, documentation, coordination, checklists)
- Facilitate trial period check-ins, 1:1s, and employee touchpoints to ensure smooth integration and engagement
- Administer and coordinate benefits and insurance programs (enrollment, changes, employee support)
- Act as the first point of contact for onsite employees for HR-related questions and support
- Partner with the HR Director to ensure consistency between US and global HR practices
- Maintain accurate data in HR systems and ensure process discipline and documentation quality
- Identify and implement improvements in HR operations and employee experience
- Support recruitment process when needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in HR Generalist, People Operations, or HR Business Partner roles in the US
- Strong understanding of US employment practices, compliance, and HR processes
- Experience managing benefits and insurance programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—you keep things structured and reliable
- Comfortable running employee conversations (1:1s, check-ins, onboarding sessions)
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset—you don’t wait for instructions to fix things
- Ability to balance operational work with human interaction
- Experience with HRIS systems (HiBob or similar is a plus)
