About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide nursing care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician
Implement patients' plans of care based on diagnosis in a timely manner
Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families/support groups, and healthcare providers
Distribute supplies and perform equipment maintenance, testing, and setup

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate of an accredited school of Vocational Nursing
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
LVN Intravenous Therapy Blood Withdrawal Provider certification
2 years of recent relevant experience
Knowledge of basic nursing skills, medical procedures, views, and equipment
Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-form data and instructions
Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Written and verbal communication skills for explaining sensitive information clearly and professionally
Time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers
