About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging: Interpret advanced imaging modalities including MRI, CT, and Ultrasound.
  • Breast Imaging & Intervention: Provide diagnostic and screening mammography. Perform stereotactic breast biopsies and ultrasound-guided biopsies to support oncology and women’s health service lines.
  • Light Interventional Radiology (IR): Conduct essential, time-sensitive image-guided procedures, including: CT-guided biopsies, Lumbar punctures, Nephrostomy tube placements, Thoracentesis and Paracentesis, Barium swallow studies.
  • Onsite Collaboration: Provide consistent, in-person weekday coverage. Collaborate closely with emergency, oncology, and surgical teams to ensure rapid diagnosis, timely interventions, and optimized hospital operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MD or DO degree.
  • ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in mammography and light interventional procedures.
  • An active, unrestricted California Medical License (or the ability to obtain one).
  • A commitment to onsite, in-person patient care (this position cannot be supported via teleradiology).
