About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Sutter Health products across commercial and individual lines of business
- Serves as an entry point into product management and focuses on building foundational capabilities in product lifecycle execution, market analysis, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination
- Plays a critical role in enabling product readiness for market by supporting regulatory filings, benefit configuration, competitive analysis, and operational execution within a highly regulated state environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or related field
- 1 year recent relevant experience
- Foundational understanding of health plan structures (e.g., HMO, PPO, EPO) and benefit design principles
- Basic knowledge of state regulatory environment and/or federal programs (e.g., Affordable Care Act, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex datasets and documentation accurately
- Ability to gather, analyze, and organize data from multiple sources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data management) and PowerPoint (reporting)
- Experience or familiarity with product configuration systems, SharePoint, or document management tools is a plus
