About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Sutter Health products across commercial and individual lines of business
Serves as an entry point into product management and focuses on building foundational capabilities in product lifecycle execution, market analysis, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination
Plays a critical role in enabling product readiness for market by supporting regulatory filings, benefit configuration, competitive analysis, and operational execution within a highly regulated state environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or related field
1 year recent relevant experience
Foundational understanding of health plan structures (e.g., HMO, PPO, EPO) and benefit design principles
Basic knowledge of state regulatory environment and/or federal programs (e.g., Affordable Care Act, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex datasets and documentation accurately
Ability to gather, analyze, and organize data from multiple sources
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data management) and PowerPoint (reporting)
Experience or familiarity with product configuration systems, SharePoint, or document management tools is a plus
