About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient and other healthcare providers.
  • Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations to ensure privacy and safety.
  • Assists with clinical supervision of assistants and aides.
  • Serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's: Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
  • SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • DL-Valid Drivers License Class C
  • AUTO-Automobile Insurance
  • Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in demanding work environment.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
  • Effective and efficient professional communication skills.
