About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Is responsible for supporting PAMF's fundraising programs, with special emphasis on individual donor cultivation.
- Focus on raising principal, major, annual and planned gifts with an individual annual fundraising goal of $1.5M - $3M+.
- Provides leadership and is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and initiatives.
- Serve as administrative liaison to Senior Management and Medical Staff, as well as to Sutter Health leadership.
- Ensure the smooth and integrated operation of the organizations, and appropriate alignment of operational strategies with the overall mission and available resources.
- Represent Sutter Health in the community through various activities, ensuring that the mission and the programs of the Foundation are accurately understood and carried out.
- Serve as a catalyst for community collaboration by developing the Foundation as a resource for the community in improving the health of its residents.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field
- 12 years recent relevant experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of all fundraising approaches, with special expertise and understanding of capital campaigns, principal and major gifts, and planned giving.
- Demonstrated familiarity with cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual and institutional prospects and donors.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Corporate Partners and Physician Leaders.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and expertise in strategic planning, hospital fundraising, donor acquisition, and donor and stakeholder engagement.
- Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees.
- Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others.
- Delegates effectively, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
