About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervises the day to day activities of staff and contract personnel
Provides direction regarding building maintenance, physical security, and safety
Serves as the point of contact for various issues
Manages and oversees all facility related project work, including departmental facility planning, staff relocations, space configurations, building maintenance and repairs
Oversees projects, and daily tasks with regard to building and workplace services related projects
Analyzes key metrics and looks for ways to improve processes within the Facilities team
Serves as the affiliate ADA Coordinator

Requirements

What you’ll need

HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
5 years of recent relevant experience
Knowledge and ability to operate shop tools
Understanding of refrigeration, hydraulics, computers, and basic electrical test equipment
Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
Works with electrical, mechanical and other complex systems
Must be able to prioritize work and complete tasks independently without supervision
