About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervises the day to day activities of staff and contract personnel
- Provides direction regarding building maintenance, physical security, and safety
- Serves as the point of contact for various issues
- Manages and oversees all facility related project work, including departmental facility planning, staff relocations, space configurations, building maintenance and repairs
- Oversees projects, and daily tasks with regard to building and workplace services related projects
- Analyzes key metrics and looks for ways to improve processes within the Facilities team
- Serves as the affiliate ADA Coordinator
Requirements
What you’ll need- HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- 5 years of recent relevant experience
- Knowledge and ability to operate shop tools
- Understanding of refrigeration, hydraulics, computers, and basic electrical test equipment
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- Works with electrical, mechanical and other complex systems
- Must be able to prioritize work and complete tasks independently without supervision
