About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervises the day to day activities of staff and contract personnel
  • Provides direction regarding building maintenance, physical security, and safety
  • Serves as the point of contact for various issues
  • Manages and oversees all facility related project work, including departmental facility planning, staff relocations, space configurations, building maintenance and repairs
  • Oversees projects, and daily tasks with regard to building and workplace services related projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience
  • Knowledge and ability to operate shop tools
  • Understanding of refrigeration, hydraulics, computers, and basic electrical test equipment
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
  • Works with electrical, mechanical and other complex systems
  • Must be able to prioritize work and complete tasks independently without supervision
