About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides strategic and operational leadership for inpatient and/or outpatient Rehabilitation Services.
- Responsible for overseeing departmental operations, budget administration, staffing and resource management, workplace environment, quality improvement initiatives, policy and procedure implementation, and long-range planning.
- Ensures regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous program development to deliver high-quality patient care while meeting the needs of the medical center, physicians, patients, and employees.
- Accountable for optimizing performance across all key operational areas, including service excellence, quality outcomes, workforce engagement, growth, and financial stewardship.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Audiology
- PT-Physical Therapist OR OT-Occupational Therapist OR SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- 8 years of recent relevant experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Rehabilitation principles, procedures and practices related to at least one of the following disciplines: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Audiology
- Knowledge of current hospital policies and procedures, quality control, competency assessment programs, principles and methods of training and supervision, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Knowledge and competence in the use of equipment associated with the practice of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Audiology and any and all equipment associated with the Wellness Center.
- Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills,
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service and achieving business results.
- Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
