Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's: Dietetics, nutrition, or related field
RD-Registered Dietitian
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Proven basic competency in standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the diabetes education specialty field
Demonstrated basic knowledge of diabetes monitoring and managing equipment
Skilled in Motivational Interviewing and basic behavioral counseling skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of adult learning theory
