Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assists in providing physical therapy treatments and performing procedures
  • Assist in the development of treatment plans
  • Document the progress of treatment
  • Modify specific treatments within scope of the plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist
  • Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care
  • May serve as clinical instructor for assigned students

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • PTA-Registered Physical Therapist Assistant
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Auto Insurance valid Drivers License
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work in demanding work environment
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies
  • Effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills
