Designs, builds, and maintains production data pipelines and dashboards that measure safety, effectiveness, and equity of Sutter Health’s AI-enabled products
Write complex SQL across Epic Clarity/Caboodle and other clinical, operational, and vendor datasets
Engineer scalable data flows in Databricks or comparable lakehouse/ETL environments
Develop interactive visualizations in approved BI platforms (Microstrategy, Tableau)
Automate monitoring and data-quality checks; Python preferred
Convert risk-monitoring requirements into reliable, auditable KPIs and evidence for clinical and executive stakeholders
Work closely with AI governance analysts, data scientists and program managers
Member of Sutter’s Center for AI, focused on building and deploying real-world AI solutions
REQUIRES IN OFFICE 2 DAYS A WEEK IN SACRAMENTO or SAN FRANCISCO
Requirements
Bachelor's in Applied Statistics, Computer Analytics, Computer or related field
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
5 years recent relevant experience
Deep knowledge of Epic’s data model and healthcare quality metrics
Write complex SQL across Epic Clarity/Caboodle and other clinical, operational, and vendor datasets
Engineer scalable data flows in Databricks (or comparable lakehouse/ETL environments)
Develop interactive visualizations in approved BI platforms (Microstrategy, Tableau)
Automate monitoring and data-quality checks (Python preferred)
Advanced knowledge of database programming and statistics
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Expert knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Reporting Service or other BI applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with executives and subject matter experts
Skilled in developing technical and user-level documentation
