Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain web applications using backend technologies.
Lead and take ownership of the project end to end.
Build responsive front-end user interface with JavaScript/React.
Write complex SQL and manage relational databases, including data migrations.
Design and develop APIs as part of application frameworks.
Implement and integrate Elasticsearch into existing applications.
Build cloud-native applications in AWS.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of full stack development experience, with a strong expertise of both backend and frontend technologies.
Ability to work independently as a one-person development team and take ownership of a project end to end.
Expertise in developing web applications in Python.
Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern JavaScript/React frameworks.
Strong ability to write complex SQL and stored procedures, and to tune high performance database queries.
Extensive experience managing relational databases (MySQL) in production, including large-scale data migrations and schema management through code.
Strong experience in API design and development.
Hands-on experience implementing Elasticsearch, building it from scratch within an existing application.
Experience building cloud-native software application in AWS.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business users.
Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
Experience with automated test/build/deploy tools in a Python and React tech stack.
