About the role
- Responsible for preparing and providing detailed financial analyses and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.
- Prepare financial reports, KPIs, data analyses, and recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with other areas of the company to ensure financial practices are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Financial analysis: perform detailed analyses of financial statements, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Budgeting and forecasting: develop and manage financial budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Financial reporting: prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Financial modeling: create and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning initiatives and decision-making.
- Project evaluation: analyze the feasibility and return on investment of new and existing projects, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Risk management: identify and assess the company’s financial exposure, proposing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Cross-department collaboration: work closely with other departments, such as accounting, operations, and sales, to align financial objectives with organizational goals.
- Audit and compliance: ensure financial practices comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide support and analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and investment processes.
- Develop and monitor financial performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company’s financial health.
- Collaborate with areas such as accounting and operations to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Review and optimize financial processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Monitor changes in financial and accounting legislation, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Autonomy and resilience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Power BI.
- Experience working with ERP and budget management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, accounting, and financial software.
